Music on Repeat: Matthew Santos February 11, 2008

Filed under: music: on repeat — Dianna @ 9:45 pm

There’s something about his voice. Those folky tunes he belts out while playing the acoustic guitar…

For the past two weeks I’ve been listening to Matthew Santos EVERYDAY. I kid you not, EVERYDAY. I first discovered him on Lupe Fiasco’s new album “The Cool”. The first single released was “Superstar“. You press play, hear the crowd cheering, then you hear that voice. The voice of Matthew Santos. I was in music love from that point on.

Check him out; he’s got a great sound. You can buy his music from iTunes (that’s what I did!). You won’t be disappointed.

Check him out: here, here, and here.

Happy Listening.

P.S. I’m in love with Chicago music right now (KanYe, Common, Lupe, Matthew, Fall Out Boy). Let me know who else is in this CRAZY talented city.

Awesome music choices. Cent told me about Matthew Santos a few months ago. I enjoy the Lupe too 🙂
